Bradley Arnoldus story:
A Navy Nuclear Trained Electronics Technician, Second Class Petty Officer (E-5) with over 6 years of experience in the areas of electronics and electrical power systems onboard Navy Nuclear Submarines. He was a part of the Blue crew onboard the USS Nevada (SSBN-733) and he spent the majority of this time qualified as a Reactor Operator or Shutdown Reactor Operator.
He transitioned out the Navy in January 2017 and took a break for some time and was unemployed, and then he found out about Power4Vets thru a friend via Facebook. He took the liberty to submit his application package to Power4Vets and we immediately screened his package and his journey took off like a rocket from that point.
His Power4Vets journey started in July 2017 and he graduated from the Power System Operations Courses (PSOC) in September 2017, and then he started studying for the NERC exam and he successfully obtained his NERC Reliability Coordinator Certification in November 2017. Bradley now works for East River Electric Cooperative in South Dakota as a System Operator.
Congratulations, to Bradley Arnoldus for being a believer in the Power4Vets program and we are proud of his success!
“Words from Bradley”
I was very impressed with the Power4Vets program. The knowledge and training I received through the simulator and lectures were invaluable in my transition to the civilian electrical industry as a System Operator. David Miranda was a great resource for me throughout the entire process of getting my NERC RC Certification and getting hired as a System Operator. I am very grateful for the help and support I received through the Power4Vets program. I highly recommend the program to any veterans transitioning into the Electrical Industry.
