A Navy Nuclear trained Second Class Petty Officer (E-5) with over 3 years of experience in the areas of aircraft carrier electrical distribution and casualty control operations. A Navy qualified maintenance man, watch log recorder, ships service turbine generator watch operator, throttleman, and propulsion electrician onboard the USS George H. W. Bush (CVN-77). He found out about the Power4Vets program thru one of his Navy Associates and he contacted us and enrolled into the program back in October 2015 and has been completing the training course and is still working towards NERC Certification. Jeremy’s military transition ended sooner than expected and he started apply to jobs in his geographic location of choice and with the IncSys Human Resource teams assistance he was able to pass his EEI SO/PD test and interviewed for an Associate System Operator positon with Duke Energy and he nailed the job position in April 2016. Jeremy was able to land his dream job with the utility and geographical location of choice and he also achieved his NERC Reliability Coordinator Certification. We are grateful for him believing in the training and the process and wish him the best of luck at Duke Energy.
