Application Instructions
IncSys is looking for candidates who are motivated and excited to begin a career in energy management. This career is lucrative and exciting, but it does require hard work to break into this industry. The Power4Vets program is designed to lower that barrier of entry for military veterans who are motivated and energized.
If you are self-motivated, looking for a career that lasts, and ready to invest in learning the basics, then the Power4Vets program is just what you need to get you started on a path to success.
STEP 1 – Inform Yourself about Power4Vets

STEP 2 – Completing the Application
Complete the application. All the instructions for completing the form are specified within the application. Applicants must provide the following:
» Completed Application (P4V Application Form)
» Resume
» DD-214 (member copy 4) or note your military email address if you do not yet have your DD-214
» any unofficial transcripts (if any) and or your JST (Joint Services Transcript)

STEP 3 – Application Review/Acceptance
A Power4Vets representative will contact you regarding your application. Applicants will be assessed based on their military experience, education, and compatibility with the program objectives. This step usually takes no longer than 1 week. If accepted, you will be required to conduct a verbal review enrollment session with the Program Manager to sign you agreement document (contract), and then you will be provided a Power4Vets Program Manual and Study Guide which walks you through the program step-by-step.
STEP 4 – Begin the Training
The student will be trained to become a power system operator. This process takes approximately 2 and 6 months depending on the motivation level of the student and the time available to give to the course work. The training plan consists of video lectures, quizzes, simulation exercises, simulation assessments, and NERC standards prep work. The curriculum culminates in taking the NERC certification test. After passing this test you will be certified to operate the power grid in North America.
IncSys Academy is licensed by the State of Washington Workforce Training and Education Coordination Board, and complies with the requirements of the Private Vocational School Act, chapters 28C.10 RCW and WAC 490-105
